Fraud Warning
Fraudulent Scam Emails Using the Name of AMLReview
We would like to bring to the attention of the general public that several types of fraudulent financial scam emails, messages, and letters are currently in circulation, falsely claiming to have been sent by AMLReview or authored by its Executive Secretary.
These fraudulent communications may inform recipients that they have won a lottery, are entitled to receive a large sum of money, or are beneficiaries of an inheritance.
Unfortunately, some of these scammers are copying legitimate AMLReview communications and procedures, making it difficult for recipients to distinguish between genuine and fraudulent correspondence. We therefore urge everyone to remain extremely cautious and to verify the source of any communication claiming to be from AMLReview.
How to Verify a Genuine Communication
- Check that the sender's email address matches an official @amlreview.co domain.
- Verify that the email address appears on our official list of authorized contact addresses.
- AMLReview will only contact you by telephone using the official telephone number published on our website.
- We will never contact you from an alternative or unauthorized telephone number.
- Do not provide personal, financial, or confidential information unless you have independently verified the authenticity of the communication.
- Do not make any payments or follow instructions received from an unverified source.
If You Are Unsure
If you remain uncertain about the authenticity of a message that appears to have been sent by AMLReview, or that refers to an action allegedly being taken by AMLReview, please do not hesitate to contact us directly. Our team will review the communication and respond as soon as possible.
Before taking any action, please first verify that the communication comes from an official AMLReview domain, matches our published email addresses, and uses only our official contact numbers.
Your safety and protection from fraudulent activity are extremely important to us. Please remain vigilant and exercise caution when receiving unsolicited communications claiming to represent AMLReview.
